As you are aware a number of our recent fixtures have been transferred due to ongoing works on the racing surface here at Sedgefield.
Although the work has been completed, we are now waiting for the grass to bind and ensure a safe surface for both horse and jockey. In light of this, we have taken the decision to transfer both Weds 30 August & Thursday 7 September to Uttoxeter and Southwell respectively.
We understand the disappointment that this will cause however safety and the welfare of participants, both human and equine is paramount.
We will be in touch with anyone who has booked tickets for these fixtures, along with our Annual Members, Sponsors and Partners in due course and will offer further updates on the progress of the track in the coming weeks.
