Ladies Evening on Thursday 29th August is proving to be even more popular this year than the previously well attended events.
Following the announcement of Fleur East, who will be performing a live DJ set after racing, ticket sales have been soaring with almost a sell-out of all hospitality and popular admission packages.
This year, Sedgefield Racecourse are hosting a Mad Hatters Tea Party within the trackside marquee and have teamed up with Poetic License to bring hospitality guests a quirky arrival cocktail drink. The drink will be chosen by Sedgefield Racecourse social media fans by voting for which cocktail they think should win. Head over to Sedgefield Racecourse Facebook page to vote for either; Who the ? is Alice?, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Tweedledum & Tweedledee, Eat Me Drink Me or Mad Hatter. Voters will also be entered in to a draw to win two complimentary places within the Mad Hatters Marquee on Thursday 29 August.
Emma White, General Manager at Sedgefield Racecourse said: “Ladies Evening is always a highlight of the region’s social calendar and we can’t wait to bring something new to the event this year. The response has been amazing since we announced that Fleur East will be performing a live DJ set after racing to help us celebrate our eighth year of hosting this event.”
“As well as the racing and the live performance there will also be the chance to win some amazing prizes for the best dressed Lady so make sure you dress to impress. I’d urge anyone who hasn’t already booked up to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
The annual Roflow raceday, which gets started at 3pm with gates opening and the first race at 4.50pm, will include seven live races, best dressed ladies competition and live entertainment.
